Sunday School
NEWS FROM SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School is for ages 4 through adult from 10:15 to 11:30 each Sunday following the church service. On the second Sunday of each month there will be a Family Service with an activity following in various classrooms. A schedule for the year will be given to students on Rally Day. Please invite family and friends to attend with you. It is also hoped that adults will plan to attend Adult Forum. There is always a good discussion to be found.
As part of the church's plan to work toward our overarching goals, the Sunday School will do the following:
1. Nonperishable food will be collected each Sunday as part of the offering. This food will be donated to the local food pantry.
2. The Sunday School children will be corresponding with the church's missionary nurse throughout the year.
3. They will also be sending notes to fellow students.
TEACHERS
There will be a nursery-kindergarten class taught by Mary Jo Kvam; Grade 1 & 2, co-taught by Sue Olney and a parent; Grade 3 & 4, taught by Pete Kulbacki; Grade 5 & 6, taught by Lloyd Kvam, and the Adult Forum which will be led by John Harris. Confirmation class will meet during Sunday School time and will be taught by Philip Cronenwett. Installation of teachers will take place on Sunday, August 26th during the 9:00 AM service. Many thanks to these dedicated people who have committed their time and talents to serve our young (and older) students.
