Looking for a deeper understanding of Scripture? Hoping to know a bit more of the context or intent behind the readings we hear in church? This church year, we will be hearing most consistently from the gospel of Matthew. We have four accounts of Jesus’ birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection. Each has its own particular audience, perspective and background. Join us in taking a deeper look at the language, intent, and idiom of the gospel of Matthew. Join us Thursdays at 1 p.m. on Zoom for Bible Study beginning January 12. You can purchase a learner book here: Matthew Learner Guide: Books of Faith | Augsburg Fortress.
