There will be one service Christmas Eve at 7:00 P.M. It will be live-streamed and recorded so that you can worship with your family at whatever time works best for you Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. It is a disappointment for all of us that we cannot gather in person to celebrate, lighting candles and singing carols and sharing the wonderful story of our Lord's birth. We had hoped the public health situation would be so much better after this many months, but instead we are in a time of gravely increased risk, rising infection rates and potentially tragic outcomes. So we will decorate the sanctuary and share its beauty from a distance. We will light candles and sing carols, where we safely can, in the limited company of our loved ones at home. We cannot invite members of our community to join us in the building, but we will invite them to join Community Lutheran Church in our celebration online. Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We will share the good news of His life coming into the world while protecting the lives of our neighbors, friends and families.
