Please join us for Maundy Thursday as we observe Holy Week. The service begins with confession and absolution and will offer individual absolution, in addition to the corporate announcement of forgiveness, for those who would like to receive it. After communion the service will end with the stripping of the altar and the congregation dispersing in silence. The term "maundy" is derived from Latin meaning "to give" or "to order." After finishing the last supper, Jesus walked toward Gethsemane with the disciples and gave them a new commandment: “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (John 13:34).
