This year's theme continues the fun begun at Vacation Bible School: the Great Bible Reef. We will be looking at Water Stories! Tuesday, September 1st kicks us off with the Creation Story and an interactive art project. This year we are starting at 4 p.m., which hopefully makes it easier for more kids to participate. Heather Oliver is willing to pick up kids at EVS after school and walk them down the hill to Community Lutheran Church. There they will have a snack and have some down time before the program begins at 4 p.m. In order to do this, Heather tells me, EVS parents need to tell the EVS secretary (mbrown@mvrad.org) and their teacher that they will be walkers that day. IRS kids need permission to take the transfer bus to EVS, where Heather Oliver will meet them. Please let Pr. Stephanie know (clc-pastor@clcenfield.org) by Monday August 31 if your child plans to attend (and cc Heather/hdholiver@gmail.com, if you want her to "pick your kid up" at EVS).
