This year's theme is Water Stories! Tuesday, October 13 we will read about a powerful general (Naaman) told to take a bath by a lowly prophet (Elijah) and the ways it changes his life. This year we are starting at 4 p.m., which hopefully makes it easier for more kids to participate. Heather Oliver is willing to pick up kids at EVS after school and walk them down the hill to Community Lutheran Church. There they will have a snack and have some down time before the program begins at 4 p.m. In order to do this, Heather tells me, EVS parents need to tell the EVS secretary (mbrown@mvrad.org) and their teacher that they will be walkers that day. IRS kids need permission to take the transfer bus to EVS, where Heather Oliver will meet them. Please let Pr. Stephanie know (clc-pastor@clcenfield.org) by Monday October 12 if your child plans to attend (and cc Heather/hdholiver@gmail.com, if you want her to "pick your kid up" at EVS).
