Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday. It goes by many names Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, and there are many traditions around this day. The point is to throw a party and eat rich foods before the austerity of Lent begins. We will be serving delicious hot pancakes, and invite you to bring your favorite side. To encourage our festive atmosphere, we’ll have several activities available for all ages, including our fabulous pancake flipping relay (points for skill & style). As we close, we will burn last years palms for ashes to be used Ash Wednesday.
